I now have my favorite male vampire poll up. Like I said with the female vampire poll, I'm sure I'm leaving off several favorites, so feel free to mention them in the comments section. Buffy fans--I didn't forget you this time! In fact, I listed two Buffy males.
My last poll was a dud and didn't receive much participation, I have to admit. I asked visitors to pick which of this year's Academy Award nominees you'd cast as vampires. Perhaps it was a little too weird and creepy to imagine classy veterans of the screen like Julie Christie as bloodsuckers, so Johnny Depp and Viggo Mortensen received the only votes. A word about Viggo-- I know he's popular due to films like the LOTR trilogy, but I always think of him as "the blouse man" from the 1999 film A Walk on the Moon. If you're a Viggo fan, make sure you check out this smaller, earlier film.

A Walk on the Moon is one of Viggo's best films, ever! It was the first one I saw him in, so it's my favorite.
I'm glad to hear we're not the only ones who saw and enjoyed that film. My husband and I saw it in the theater when it first came out, and we loved it. Our favorite line is "Are you schtooping the blouse man?"
