Top vampire cliches

No badly accented, garlic-fearing vampires please. These days we humans seem to prefer impossibly beautiful, well-groomed vampires immune to the traditional deterrents. Here are the results of my poll that asked, "Which vampire cliches would you like to see laid to rest?"

1. Traditional deterrents (garlic, crosses)
2. Vampires with generic foreign accents
3. A tie
--Vampire males with long, flowing hair
--Vampire detectives/crime fighters
4. A tie
--Aristocratic vampires
--Goth girls in love with vampires
5. Vampires who live in manors
6. Other
7. Impossibly beautiful vampires

Two people who marked "Other" added their own least-favorite cliches: cookie-cutter "badasses" - who just happen to also be vampires and sloppy eaters.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated. That was a lot of fun. If you'd still like to add your own least-favorite cliche, feel free to do so in the comments section for this post or the original post.
