Music Monday--The Fine Art of Poisoning

I learned about today's Music Monday artist, Jill Tracy, when a friend of hers emailed me after discovering I wrote a seance novel set in the early 1900s. I checked out Jill's music and agreed her look and sound is indeed right up my Gothic alley. Here's what the San Francisco Bay Guardian has to say about her:

"Who else could have written the definitive elegy on the 'fine art of poisoning,' composed a hauntingly lush live score for F.W. Murnau's classic silent film Nosferatu, joined forces with that merry band of bloodthirsty malcontents, Thrillpeddlers, and still somehow remain a shining beacon of almost beatific grace? Part tough-as-nails film fatale, part funeral parlor pianist..."

So, without further ado, here's a gorgeously filmed, award-winning video for her song "The Fine Art of Poisoning" that's certain to appeal to fans of vampires, steampunk, silent film, the Victorian and Edwardian eras, and anything else with a dark, witty twist.
