Those of you who have read Suburban Vampire for a while know one of the upcoming vampire films I'm most looking forward to is the indie Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead. It finally has its world premiere screening coming up at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, January 19 and 22. Hopefully, this vampire underdog will pick up a distributor there and move beyond the festival circuit.
To do my part to get this movie in theaters, I'm posting the trailer again. Need I mention one more time that The Karate Kid's Ralph Macchio appears in the film? Plus Dustin Hoffman's son stars and John Lennon's son composed the score. I'm a former theater geek who loves quirky indies, so perhaps that's why I'm so excited, but hopefully the film will appeal to the non-geeky vampire fans, too.

What a quirky looking film! I think I might watch it when it's out on DVD.
I can't imagine it in the cinema here in the UK though. I don't think it's 'commercial' enough.
I'll post if there's any news about it traveling overseas.
Well, now that I have seen the trailer, methinks I can say with no hesitation whatsoever...
I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!
AUUUGGGHHH! What has to be done??? I want to see this!
I recently found this tidbit: "Jordan Galland's horror comedy Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Undead has been picked up for distro by Indican Pictures and is set for a limited theatrical run on April 16th, 2010." (From DreadCentral.com Hooray!!
I'll post the latest when I hear it.
