I think New Moon is going to be out in 2009 November though, I'm sure I read that somewhere...and that they're going to start filming in about 2/3 months!... that's why Catherine Hardwicke left, because they wouldn't give her more time... I don't blame her!... I assume the company want to cash in (again) quickly on the Twilight hype.
..they're keeping Jacob in, as I've read an outline of the story (I'm still waiting for Amazon to deliver it to me!) and he is a key character in New Moon ... they just don't know if they're keeping the same actor... which is ridiculous! Changing characters in films is the most stupid thing to do.
I had read both 2009 and 2010. Just checked into it further and see that they're now aiming for the same weekend as Twilight's release, with a Nov. 20, 2009, opening (12/16/08 New Moon news). I'll update the list. I've also heard about changing the Jacob actor or else beefing up the current actor with computer imaging.
They should do the latter, but I think he has enough time to beef himself up naturally, and he's still a growing boy, he's going to grow! It's so frustrating! I read something hilarious about it though, it went something like this:
'I don't know why they can't just leave the original Jacob! Who cares if he is too babyfaced or not tall enough or not beefy enough! That's just like taking out Robert Pattinson for not being a real vampire!'
Hilarious! .. even more so because this person was incredibly passionate aout it all!
nuvonova: That's a hilarious point! Yes, there seems to be some extremely impassioned debates about the subject. I hope the filmmakers keep the original actor in.
You forgot to add House of Night. Which is a Book Series about Vampires. Which will becoming out in 2011. FYI

There are so many vampire movies coming out, i am so excited. I can't wait for Eclipse and Lost Boys 3, and of course 30 Days of Night, part 2!!
