New Orleans of corse. It rains a lot, it's dark, there's plenty of art and music, and old architecture. There's also plenty of people to feed on. :D
I would say just for at home type thrills... Vegas!
Everyone sleeps during the day and the best partying happens at night.
i would say Edinburgh Scotland, for spring break its overcast most of the time and dark for long periods, but also there is plenty of mysteries under the castle and throughout the city to keep vampires entertained.
Well, of course there is Transylvania or dare I say Forks WA...
I'll go with Paris as I have been getting a good bit of 'vampire love poetry' submitted to my site lately so I'm choosing the city of love.
It's gotta be Vegas Baby! Lol, total night life with nary a moment of down time! It would be absolutely perfect!
Have a great day every one!

"Spring" break is only the case in the northern hemisphere--go somewhere south of the border for "Autumn" break! I recommend Argentina--sultry beauties of the Latino variety coupled with the opportunity to chow down on the last few Nazi war criminal in hiding.
I like Zahir's idea about chowing down on Nazi war criminals!
I still think the traditional spring break destination of Florida would be a great place if you were a vampire -- there'd be loads of parties to attend at night, and riding up and down the boardwalk Lost Boys style would certainly get my attention!
I would say Carlsbad Caversns. You could never have to come out in the sun and there are plenty of tourists down there to snack on.
I would say Sighisoara in Romania (birthplace of Dracula)because they'll have a lot of history to learn and to visit or sleep in coffins at the legendary Bran Castle (a.k.a Dracula’s Castle).Creepy no?
P.S.:there are many tourists there(snack)
Spring break in Ireland would be a great destination for vampires.

I LOVE all the vacation suggestions...and the snack tips that include exiled Nazis and tourists. Six more days to go.
I'd have to go with Paris. All those old catacombs to hide in & lots of great night life.
Hey, what about good old New York City? Great nightlife that goes on all night and then you can sleep all day. Plenty of mere mortals have done it. They'd blend right in.
The North Pole! The vampires would have a chance to see the gorgeous aurora borealis!

Toronto Ontario Canada. Big city, friendly, unsuspecting citizens and great night life. Not to mention the subway makes it easy to get around during the day just in case someone just happens to forget the time.
Las Vegas - Where it's lively from dusk til dawn.

Ah, Spring Break. Vampires could have a great time in Cancun. Rest up during the day for the intense wild parties at night. And so many to choose from.
I would have to say New York City. Its a city that never sleeps, so the night life would be awesome.

Florence, Italy. A decent getaway with plenty of native blood.
I say a cruise ship, one of the big ones. There are so many activities below deck during the day, you wouldn't have to go above-deck ever. Then again, at night, you can find some pretty secluded spots where you wouldn't be interrupted with a little snack. And then there are all the stops where you could feed on locals and be gone before anyone could track you.
Ha! These are all great. I wish I had the time and means to run a short story contest that would challenge all of you to put your ideas into fictional tales. One day, perhaps....
Congratulations to pixie13, my winner of Peter Pauper Press's Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies: Compendium Monstrum and Vampire Journal.
Thanks so much to Peter Pauper Press for offering copies of their beautiful vampire publications, and thanks to everyone who entered the contest. I had loads of fun reading everyone's suggestions for vampire spring breaks.
