I've discussed numerous times that I'm a fan of the Victorian era. Combine a nineteenth-century setting with ghosts or vampires, and I'm completely sold on a book or a film. . . or, in the case of Chris Stone's upcoming Blood and Bone China, an online series. From bloodandbonechina.com:
It is 1897 and a city is in turmoil. In the smoky, dirty depths of middle England, the people are terrified. The once-bustling streets of Stoke are empty, the silence is only broken by the whispers of devils, demons, and vampires. Poor souls are being taken, vanishing without a trace.
The atmospheric trailer:
Blood and Bone China is coming March 2011. You can check out more info at bloodandbonechina.com, Twitter, and Facebook.

I'm hooked.
They said the first episodes will be available soon.
Interesting how you have an affinity for the Victorian era. I feel connecting to Celtic art myself. Meanwhile, I love reading about the Victorian age and feel grateful I'm not living during that time period.
Your blog just received an award for having such bite to it. To collect a very personalized image - go to my second blog (http://VampireReview.blogspot.com) where you'll find you are being honored/more.
Thanks so much for the award, Vamchoir! I'll make a mention of it in my next post.
I agree with you about not wanting to actually live in the Victorian era, despite my affinity for the time period.
