Music Monday: H.P. Lovecraft Holiday Albums

I stumbled upon two wonderfully dark and entertaining Christmas albums from the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society: A Very Scary Solstice and An Even Scarier Solstice.

If you're unfamiliar with H.P. Lovecraft, hplovecraft.com probably sums him up best:

HOWARD PHILLIPS LOVECRAFT (20 August 1890–15 March 1937) is probably best known as a writer of weird fiction.

Sample songs from the Lovecraftian holiday compilations include "Do You Fear What I Fear?" "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Fish-Men," "All I Want for Solstice is My Sanity," and "We Three Friends of HPL Are." You can download free MP3s and sheet music, order the CDs, and ask the society questions (even about fish-men) at their Scary Solstice page.
