13-Word Paranormal Synopses for Friday the 13th

Happy Friday the 13th! To celebrate this lucky day, I invited authors and other entertainers to send me 13-word synopses of their paranormal projects.

I had one major requirement: the blurbs needed to be 13 words EXACTLY to be included here. There's some debate about calling hyphenated words one word versus two, especially when both words can stand on their own, but I allowed them to be considered one word for this round.

Hunted by the Others by Jess Haines (Book)
A human private investigator is blackmailed into retrieving an artifact from a vampire.

Fangs for Nothing by Adrianne Ambrose (Book)
Herbert Lehmur always wanted to meet a vampire, until he actually met one.

Confessions of an Average Half-Vampire by Lisa Shafer (Book)
A teenage half-vampire seeks his own kind and eventually ends up in Scotland.

Vampire's Trill by Lorelei Bell (Book)
Clairvoyant Sabrina manages several harrowing escapes, parries with demons, vampires, and humans alike.

All Hallows Blood by Raven Corinn Carluk (Book)
A young psychic warrior helps an elder vampire save Portland from vampire war.

Trisanguinus Carnelevarii (Trisangs) (Vampire Gothic/Horror Entertainers)
Vampire coterie brings their unique entertainment style to Northeastern US events and conventions.

Love Potions by Michelle McCleod (Novella)
Even bad love potions are an improvement when you're all thumbs at romance.

In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters (Book)
Spirit communication becomes a dark and dangerous obsession in a troubled wartime world.
