About Suburban Vampire

Suburban Vampire is the creation of a mortal suburbanite named Catherine, who also pens paranormal young adult fiction under the name Cat Winters. Her debut novel, In the Shadow of Blackbirds, will be released Spring 2013 from Amulet Books/Abrams.

Catherine has enjoyed dark tales since childhood and has been a lifelong movie buff and bookworm.  In college, she was a deejay at KUCI 88.9 FM, which helped inspire Suburban Vampire's Music Mondays.
